About Carpe Tee'M

Founded by two very avid golfers, Carpe Tee'M captures the spirit of the impassioned golfer. Together the founders have played many many rounds of golf all over the country and abroad. Our goal is to capture the essence of golf. We wanted to not only provide golf specific apparel; but we wanted it to be unique. We wanted to provide unique golf items for golfers.

Though a recently coined phrase, our logo "Carpe Tee'M" is the battle cry for all passionate golfers. Our designs are unique to the game of golf. The "Lost Ball" is a collage representing the elements of the experience of losing a ball; an inevitable aspect of the game of golf. The impact of losing a ball in play is captured in the huge ball hidden behind the tree. To the golfer a lost ball costs a loss of stroke: Rule 27. To the rest of the world the ball is one of the more than 25 millions balls lost annually. With art and words we bring you golf on the Carpe Tee'M Apparel. Carpe Tee'M has selected sport specific clothing that includes wick away, flexible and UFP technology protection fabrics, as well as the traditional golf polos.

Where did Carpe Tee'M come from?

The Carpe Tee'M logo was born in February of 2006, when one of four golfing buddies converging at Fleming Island for their annual East v.s. West Tournament, stepped up to the tee box and uttered our now famous battle cry: Carpre Tee'M. Dr. David Ledbetter, the tournament host, along with Debra Campbell, a college friend, set out to form a company and bring you their dream of golf specific fun apparel.

Who is Dr. David Ledbetter?

Dr. David H. Ledbetter is first a golfer at heart; and a slightly famous genetic scientist. When he is not researching the genetic link to autisim at Emory University where he has the honor of holding down the Coca Cola chair for genetics, you will find him lecturing across the nation and playing golf. His preference is to walk, and he loves his cigar. His handicap is a secret, but we have heard whispers of 8. He plays Mizuno's, rockets with Big Bertha and putts Scotty Cameron. He resides in Atlanta with his wife and daughter and is a member of Druid Hills.

Who is Debra Campbell?

Aside from being the managing partner at Carpe Tee'M: Debra plays Pings and putts with Scotty. Her handicap is duo-digits. She practices alternative therapies on the NorthShore, Il where many golfers are her clients. The most famous golfer she has lunched with is Peggy Kirk Bell. Her golf bag tag collection surpasses ordinary. Debra is happy to have her three children living near her in Chicago

Where can I find Carpe Tee'M products?
Carpe Tee'M merchandise is exclusively available online at our store @ www.Carpeteem.com and soon at select pro shops.

Must I have a handicap to wear the Carpe Tee'M logo?
We get asked this often. The only criteria for eligibility is a love for the game of golf, or love for someone who plays the game of golf.

What is the proper etiquette should we run into you on a golf course?
In general, duck when we shout "Fore". That being said all else is fair. If you properly identify one of us, know that sometimes (while supplies last and all the other disclaimers...) in our golf bags we (sometimes) carry Carpe Tee'M gifts or coupons.

Shop often and until we meet on a course someday "Carpe Tee'm!"
